I loved it in the springtime, took it on the road with me
all summer, now it's autumn and I still can't seem to stop
listening to Patty Griffin's latest record, Impossible Dream. Posted by Picasa

Morning Becomes Eclectic

KCRW is the station, Nic Harcourt is the host. Every
weekday morning Nic has a live in-studio performer
who is recorded, videotaped, interviewed, broadcast
and archived. The video performances last roughly
45 minutes. The link below takes you to the list of the
most recent performing guests.

If you go to the archives page you'll find over 50 more
performances with interviews to choose from, including
Ry Cooder, The White Stripes, The Arcade Fire, Patty
Griffin, Mary Gauthier, Laura Cantrell, Shelby Lynne,
Martha Wainwright, Loudon Wainwright, David Gray,
Beck, Amos Lee, M. Ward, Steve Earle, Madeline Peyroux,
Wilco, Emiliana Torrini, Tift Merritt, Kasey Chambers,
Ben Harper, Neil Young, k.d. lang, Ollabelle, and a tribute
to Ray Charles.

There's a lot of great music and you also get to hear the
artists speak on their lives and work. I'd recommend
Jackie Greene off the recent page, and Patti Griffin - to
name just one - off the archives page. Thanks, Nic.
